Who Are Camino Recovery?
Our origins
Camino Recovery is a family business borne out of family experiences.
Having worked with both individuals and in prestigious centres around the world, predominantly in Europe, the U.S. and the Middle East, we felt that the primary purpose of treatment centres was being lost.
Our clinicians are experts in the treatment of addiction (process and substance), in conjunction with, or separately from depression, trauma and anxiety. We believe in addressing the root cause and improving lives.
Driven by a belief that an experienced team offering diverse and varied treatment approaches was essential, Camino Recovery opened its doors in 2008.
We remain a small, bespoke, and empathetic treatment centre motivated solely to heal the unnecessary suffering caused by abuse, destructive compulsive behaviour and emotions.
Treating Addiction, Changing Lives
I wanted to create an environment where people could come to heal by providing a retreat that offers an escape from the stresses of everyday living.
Here our clients can look at their lives, thought patterns and behaviours, and assess what is working for them and what is not.
Our aim is to free our clients from the constraints of their past trauma so they can become the best they can be. Our greatest joy is to see people leave Camino Recovery and flourish with the new tools they have gained.

Where are we?
In 2017, an opportunity arose for Camino Recovery to relocate to Vélez-Málaga.
Surrounded by lush avocado and mango groves, the new premises provides an improved level of comfort and luxury, with equine facilities nearby. Located 30 minutes east of Malaga, Camino Recovery provides a high level of seclusion and unparalleled authenticity.
The subtropical climate means that mild temperatures can be relied upon throughout the year, all contributing to an environment that allows you to disconnect, relax and recover.

Selected for their wealth of knowledge, we have assembled a highly sophisticated, trained and experienced team who all contribute to the friendly, professional, family environment at Camino Recovery.
