Admissions Process

What to expect when you reach out to our treatment centre in Spain

Our admissions process at Camino Recovery Spain

Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming, especially when trauma, addiction, or other mental health challenges are part of your experience.

Whether you are seeking support for yourself or someone you care about, our team is here to offer compassionate, personalised guidance from your very first contact, ensuring you feel supported and understood every step of the way.

You need to know you are not alone, and we understand how difficult it can be to take that first-ever step toward recovery.

To help ease your concerns, here is a step-by-step guide to our admissions process

This will tell you what to expect from the moment you pick up the phone to make your initial enquiry, through to the first day of admission.

Starting the process

The first step is to contact our centre. You can reach us by phone at +34 711018708, by WhatsApp, or through our secure online booking form on our website.

During your first call, you will speak to one of our experienced admissions coordinators, who will ensure the conversation is supportive and informative.

Your privacy is of utmost importance to us

Every conversation you have with our team will be confidential, so you can feel safe sharing information with us.

We will listen, get to know you, and help you explore whether our treatment programmes are suitable for your needs or those of your loved one.

Our team will meet you wherever you are in your journey, without any pressure or obligation.

We are here to offer as much guidance and support as you need to help you make an informed decision about your recovery journey.

Personalised guidance and treatment planning

Based on your initial enquiry, our admissions team will guide you through what a stay at Camino Recovery entails, using a sample weekly schedule and available sessions.

They will explain our trauma-informed treatment approach and the types of trauma therapies we provide as part of our integrated recovery programme.

Our team will answer any questions you or your family may have as we discuss suitable programme options, check your availability, and provide clarity on possible admission timeframes.

Generally, the initial information call will be followed by an assessment screening and a follow-up clinical call to discuss your needs in more depth.

All of this is provided free of charge with no obligation.

Support throughout the admissions process

Our admissions team is always available to answer any questions you may have, offering tailored guidance and ongoing support whenever you need it.

We are here to ensure you do not navigate this process alone.

Booking a tour of our centre

If it helps, you and your loved ones are very welcome to arrange a tour to view our centre.

Many clients take this option because it gives them a better sense of our environment, the chance to view a prospective room, and even the opportunity to meet members of the clinical team.

Tours are also a good opportunity for us to better assess your clinical needs and challenges, allowing us to explore treatment options that can help.

Many clients gain significant reassurance from tours and from meeting our team in person, and we encourage you to consider this as an option once you make your initial enquiry.

Financial and practical considerations

At Camino Recovery, we understand that financial and practical concerns can feel overwhelming when considering mental health and/or addiction treatment at a residential centre.

We try to make this process as seamless and transparent as possible by discussing the following with you during your initial call:

  • Treatment fees and payment options.
  • Insurance coverage options (where applicable).
  • What is included in your treatment programme.
  • Travel, arrival, and logistics protocols for Spain.

Our admissions team is here to support you with any necessary travel arrangements, including any family members attending the centre with you.

If you have any questions about treatment fees or travel logistics, please get in touch with our admissions team today, who will gladly assist.

  • What to pack and what items to leave at home.
