Treatment at Camino Recovery

Below is the list of itemised treatment approaches that Camino Recovery provides; however, it is not limited to this list. There are a few open slots in our programme that we use to flex to the needs of the current group, in which case we may bring other treatment modalities.

EMDR

Process emotional trauma, take the emotional charge away from distressing memories.

Equine Therapy

Experiential therapy with horses, using them to sense internal emotional states.

Family Programme

Looking at family systems as a whole. Education, therapy and communication.

Art Therapy

Using the creative process, analysis and experiential learning to express emotions.

12-Step Programme

A concrete, spiritual - not religious - programme for addressing compulsivity.

Relapse Prevention

Analysing the process of relapse, identifying triggers, high-risk situations, warning signs and goals.

Individual Therapy

Addressing issues on a one-to-one basis, gaining emotional insight and support.

Holistic and Wellness

Treating the person as a whole - body, mind and spirit.

Group Sessions

Making connections, relational dynamics, personal growth and developing a sense of self.
